Our Puppies

From our home to yours, our puppies have been bred, loved and socialized to be the perfect pets.  Choose with your heart, you will be best friends for many years to come...

Here are some pictures of our puppies from the past!  We still love them and think of them often!

Battle of the Sexes

You see the puppy, the puppy is adorable.  The puppy is the right breed, the right color, the right expression on it's face.  It's love at first sight.  The puppy turns out to be a BOY??!!!  OH BUT YOU WANTED A GIRL??!!!  Or maybe it was the other way around.  Guess what... the truth is, after you spay or neuter your new friend there is virtually no difference.  Let's break it down:

We don't call bad boys "dogs" for nothing!  Who let those dogs out?  Your UNneutered boy may mark and "hump" every man, woman, child, pillow, animal, stuffed thing, and piece of furniture in sight.  He may also be a tad territorial.  Spaniels aren't known to be great watch dogs, however, an UNneutered male will be cautious about who he allows in what he considers his "space".

After you neuter your boy these behaviors will disappear.  Your boy will be attentive to you and eager to please you and not his boyish drives.  He will be calm, affectionate, and a homebody.  He will love his family earnestly and be ready to play within the limits set for him instead of challenging boundaries.  Your boy dog will be quite the faithful friend that earned dogs the title "Man's Best Friend"!

Ladies, ladies, ladies, you know where the term b!tch came from?  That's right, UNspayed females.  And, your girl can be grumpy for her heat.  She will be snappy, unable to get along with other dogs, overly protective of her person or people, and she'll make a mess.

After you spay your girl, she won't heat.  She will be very sweet and ready to love her people.  She'll never be quite as calm as a boy but there have to be differences somewhere, right?  She is always just a little more excitable.  But she is still just as loving and eager to please.

The point is, spaying and neutering your pet is not only the responsible thing to do, it also means you can fall in love with any puppy.  So search away for that perfect color, expression and don't worry about gender.  Once you and puppy pick each other for sure and you spay or neuter puppy, your only battle will be who gets to sleep on the pillow on your bed!
